Terms and conditions
Children and Young People
For therapy sessions involving children, a parent or nominated carer is required to remain on the premises for the duration of the session, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Fees & Payment
Fees are payable via direct debit prior to, or immediately following, each session, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
Confidentiality & Records
Clinical records are maintained for the purposes of evaluation, documentation, and continuity of care. All client information is treated as confidential and managed in accordance with professional and legal requirements. Confidentiality may be broken where there is a risk of serious harm to the client or others, or where disclosure is required by law.
Cancellations
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may be charged at the full session fee. This includes cancellations due to illness, except in exceptional circumstances.
Scope of Service
Counselling and music therapy sessions are not a crisis service. If you are experiencing immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, please contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis support service (see Emergency and crisis contact).
Consent & Participation
Participation in sessions is voluntary. Clients may pause or stop an activity at any time and are encouraged to communicate comfort levels, needs, and boundaries.
Session Review & Termination
Services may be reviewed or discontinued where sessions are repeatedly missed, payment obligations are not met, or the service is no longer clinically appropriate.
